Lewis Hamilton is hoping for a rainy qualifying at Spa Francorchamps following a tricky Friday. He feels that the W15 performs better in challenging conditions.

Following Free Practice One and Free Practice Two, Hamilton was not happy with the way the vehicle was handling. The seven-time world champion trailed his compatriot George Russell in both practice sessions, finishing fifth in the first hour and tenth in the second.

Although the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team has been performing well lately—winning two of the past three races at Silverstone and the Red Bull Ring—it doesn’t appear as though they will be able to compete with Oracle Red Bull Racing and the McLaren F1 Team at the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix.
