Cooper and Team Canada are hopeful that Morrissey’s injury isn’t too bad.

Canadian defenseman Josh Morrissey left today’s game against Czechia because he seemed to get hurt.
The defenseman from the Winnipeg Jets left the bench halfway through the second period, and NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has reported that Morrissey will not play during the 3rd period.
Josh Morrissey will not return…hopefully not serious.
Now that Canada has played, no injury replacement can be added to the roster

Since teams can have 7 defensemen at the Olympics, it looks like Thomas Harley will step in for Morrissey on the 2nd pairing with Colton Parayko.
It’s important to remember that Canada can’t bring in any replacement players for injuries now that the tournament is in progress. This means players like Jakob Chyrun or Evan Bouchard can’t be called up.
