Matthew Tkachuk taunts Canada after gutting loss at Olympics

Team Canada had a tough loss to Team USA in the Gold Medal game, and now they have to hear the Tkachuk brothers bragging about it.

Everyone on Team Canada was really upset about how the game turned out, just like many people in Canada were. They came so close to taking the lead many times, but in the end, they couldn’t keep up their strong reputation in hockey.

After winning their first gold medal in 40 years, the Tkachuk brothers are now making big statements about hockey as a whole.

Matthew Tkachuk claims that the USA is now the best in hockey after their Olympic victory. When speaking to reporters after the match, the Tkachuk brothers made sure to grab all the attention. Matthew specifically said that the USA has taken over hockey from Canada.

He praised the USA and kept saying they are the top team in hockey worldwide, even putting them ahead of Canada.

While it’s hard to argue against the outcome of the match, saying they are definitely better than Canada is a big claim to make. After watching Team Canada play today, their skill and history show they still hold a strong position in hockey.

Plus, the Tkachuk brothers didn’t exactly shine as players for Team USA in this game. Brady made some big mistakes that almost cost them the Gold. Viewers could see that Team Canada dominated the game for the last 40 minutes.

Nathan MacKinnon recognized this too and noted that Canada still appeared to be the stronger team in the game. They just didn’t end up winning.

To be fair, the rest of Team USA didn’t react the same way. Most players were really excited and happy to defeat their famous rival, Team Canada, and they respected what that win meant.

It’s typical for the Tkachuks to make bold statements just a year after losing to Team Canada, not to mention winning their first Gold since the incredible “miracle on ice” back in 1980.

They have the gold for now, but Team Canada will definitely be back competing in the next Olympics.
