London Knights player William Nicholl has agreed to a three-year beginner contract with the Edmonton Oilers.
This season, Nicholl played 32 games for London, scoring 15 goals and getting 26 points overall. He was chosen in the third round of the 2022 OHL Draft and has taken part in 168 games with the Knights, where he has earned 106 points. He is a two-time OHL champion for the 2024 and 2025 seasons and won the Memorial Cup in 2025.
Edmonton picked him as the 196th choice in the 2024 NHL Draft, coming from Ottawa, Ontario.
