Report: Suns to hire new front office executive

The Phoenix Suns are anticipated to implement a new change in their front office, marking their first reported adjustment since their first-round sweep by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Recent reports suggest that the Suns are considering significant changes in their front office following the appointment of Mike Budenholzer as the team’s 22nd head coach.

Tellem, according to his LinkedIn profile, has been the Vice President of Strategy for the Nets. His career with the Nets began in 2011 as a Basketball Information Coordinator, a role he held until 2022. During his tenure, he also served as the Director of Strategic Planning from 2018 to 2022, the assistant general manager of the Long Island Nets from 2019 to 2023, and the senior director of cap and strategy from 2022 to 2023.

Tellem is the son of Arn Tellem, the Detroit Pistons chairman and a former agent.

It remains uncertain what role Tellem will take on with the Suns.
