Before sealing the deal with the Buffalo Bills, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, a former standout for the Chiefs, had stirred up interest from his former team, the Saints, in 2022. The Kansas City Chiefs sweetened the pot by extending their offer to a third year, outbidding the Saints’ two-year proposal.
In the current offseason landscape, options for impactful signings are scarce. Nonetheless, one intriguing possibility that pundits are eyeing is the addition of Hunter Renfrow, previously with the Raiders. Renfrow not only boasts a rapport with quarterback Derek Carr but also bolsters the team’s receiving depth. While Renfrow may have peaked, his reliable hands in the slot remain an asset.
As the season approaches, speculation looms over whether the team will indeed bolster its receiving corps with a new addition.
