Stuart Skinner refused fan questions about Oilers and Connor McDavid in new video

Stuart Skinner is starting a new chapter in his NHL career with the Pittsburgh Penguins, but he still gets asked a lot about his past with the Edmonton Oilers.

The Oilers sent their long-time starting goalie to Pittsburgh, and sources say he actually liked the idea of moving on to try something new.

Stuart Skinner doesn’t want to talk about Connor McDavid

In a recently shared video, a Penguins fan went up to Stuart Skinner and started throwing questions at him about how Connor McDavid compares to Sidney Crosby. The fan also wanted to know which city he likes better, Edmonton or Pittsburgh.
Skinner remained quiet and kept signing autographs for other fans.

It’s really not nice for the fan to ask Skinner these personal questions while he’s trying to enjoy his time with fans. It shows a lack of respect for his time and feelings. Skinner likely has a lot of respect for both McDavid and Crosby.

It’s impressive that Skinner stayed calm while dealing with this annoying fan and managed to leave the situation quickly.

Since the trade happened, neither Jarry nor Skinner has really settled in with their new teams. After losing to the Calgary Flames, Jarry said he needs to perform a lot better to help the Oilers achieve better results. In 11 games with Edmonton, Jarry has a low save percentage of . 870.

Stuart Skinner has faced some struggles too. Even though he has played well at times, he still has a problem with being inconsistent. Right now, he has an . 887 save percentage in 13 games with the Penguins, which is lower than the . 891 he had with the Oilers.

In the end, most supportive hockey fans just want to see both goaltenders do well.

Let’s hope Skinner can establish his NHL career in Pittsburgh, and that Jarry can assist the Oilers during this year’s playoffs.
