Broncos Trade Proposal Ships All-Pro to NFC in Exchange for 2024 Draft Haul

Acquiring additional draft picks is crucial for the Denver Broncos, who are currently limited to just eight selections in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft.

To bolster their draft capital, the Broncos may need to consider trading away a top-tier player, such as All-Pro offensive tackle Garett Bolles. One proposal by John Buhler of FanSided suggests Denver trading Bolles to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for three picks in the 2024 draft – the Packers’ first-round pick (No. 25 overall), second-round pick (No. 58), and sixth-round pick (No. 202).

This trade scenario, as outlined by Buhler, could expedite Denver’s rebuilding process. However, it raises questions about the team’s direction and the commitment of key personnel like head coach Sean Payton.

While Bolles has expressed his desire to remain a Bronco for life, the NFL is ultimately a business, and trades are part of the game. Nevertheless, Bolles’ loyalty to Denver is evident, citing his family’s ties to the city and the organization.

For Bolles, joining the Packers could offer a new opportunity for postseason success. Throughout his tenure with the Broncos, the team has struggled to secure playoff berths, making Bolles’ postseason experience limited. A move to Green Bay would align him with a contender and increase his chances of competing for a Super Bowl title.

With quarterback Jordan Love showing promise in his first year as a starter, the Packers are poised to be strong contenders in the NFC. Adding Bolles to their roster could further solidify their offensive line and enhance their championship aspirations for the upcoming season.
