Kasperi’s wife Matleena shared several pictures of their journey and bringing their son home from the hospital. It’s great to see that everyone is healthy and joyful.

This season, Kapanen has been dealing with some annoying injuries that have kept him out of 39 games. Yet, when he has played, he has shown some of the best hockey skills of his career.

With 5 goals and 12 points in 19 games, Kapanen is on track to reach 51 points in a full season, which would make this his best year ever.

Hopefully, becoming a dad will give Kapanen some extra motivation to perform even better, and he can keep up his strong play for the Oilers. Fans in Oil Country will be cheering for Kapanen even more now.
