Steelers, Bills Nearing Trade?

The Pittsburgh Steelers are stirring up trade talks as the 2024 NFL Draft approaches, with rumors suggesting a potential deal with the Buffalo Bills. Speculation ignited after Bills linebacker Von Miller shared a video on Instagram featuring Bills GM Brandon Beane discussing a trade-up scenario for a wide receiver.

Fuel was added to the fire when Andrew Filliponi from 93.7 The Fan hinted at a possible trade between the Steelers and Bills involving their first-round picks. According to Filliponi, the proposed trade entails the Steelers sending their 20th pick and 98th pick to the Bills in exchange for the Bills’ 28th pick and 60th pick.

This trade scenario could benefit the Steelers, who hold the 20th pick and have multiple options available. By moving back to the 28th pick, they could secure more selections while still targeting their desired prospects. Pittsburgh’s draft strategy typically revolves around assessing the available talent and determining if trading back is advantageous.

As the offseason progresses, the Steelers may see value in the talent pool available around the 28th pick and decide to pursue a trade with the Bills.
