Suns, An American professional basketballer finalize contract extension after career-best season

PHOENIX – Guard Grayson Allen has secured a multi-year contract with the Phoenix Suns, cementing his place with the team after a standout season.

Announced on Tuesday, the contract is valued at $70 million over four years, as reported by ESPN.

At 28, Allen achieved a career-high average of 13.5 points per game and led the NBA with an impressive 46.1% from three-point range. His reliable performance was pivotal for the team, offering consistent floor spacing and shooting accuracy while All-Stars Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal adjusted.

The Suns, seeded sixth, are set to compete against the third-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

“I love being in Phoenix and believe in what we can achieve here,” Allen stated. “Thank you to Mat Ishbia and the organization for embracing me. I’m excited to make a long-term commitment to remain in this community and continue building with this team.”

Allen is currently in his sixth season in the NBA, having previously been a part of the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, and Milwaukee Bucks. During his college years, he played basketball at Duke University.
