According to The Daily Mail, United have held discussions over a move for the France international, who’s ready to join Ten Hag’s project. He only has one year remaining on his contract worth a reported £83,000-a-week in Munich.

Should Bayern refuse to budge from their stance, United might move to Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo. They sent their scouts to watch the former Barcelona man in action against Lille on Friday.
As far as the transfer figures are concerned, Pavard might be the best available option for the English side. The likes of Todibo and Marc Guehi (also on the club’s radar) are likely to cost north of £40m thanks to their lengthy contracts at Nice and Crystal Palace respectively.
