The pitchforks are out for Team USA leader Auston Matthews.
The Men’s Hockey Tournament at the Olympic Winter Games has started off really well for the United States, as they have won their first two games. However, even with this great start, there are still many people who are criticizing the American team. A lot of this criticism is aimed at Auston Matthews, the star player from the Toronto Maple Leafs, who is currently the captain for Team USA in this event.
Fans and experts are feeling let down by Matthews’ performance so far in the tournament. Many American hockey fans are already asking for him to lose the “C” on his jersey.

Some people think Brady Tkachuk, who is the captain of the Ottawa Senators, would be a better choice for leading the team.
Others believe that Jack Eichel, a standout player for the Vegas Golden Knights, would be a better captain.
