Corey Perry has delivered a stern warning ahead of joining Peter Laviolette and the Los Angeles Kings in a bid for another Stanley Cup.
Perry, at 41, is approaching the next campaign as a farewell tour. Despite his age, the experienced winger is convinced his body can handle the demands of the game.
Perry said, “I’m feeling wonderful.” I’m still having a good time and feeling youthful. And he plays a significant part in that.
Perry’s enthusiasm has given him an additional source of vitality during a demanding offseason, which was mentioned in the last line in reference to his kid, Griffin.
Perry has heard the inquiries regarding his age, decreasing role, and enduring worth. He believes that in order to get significant minutes, one must continue to train, be prepared to report, and exert pressure.
He is aware that he may be in the bottom six, near the crease, and in challenging playoff contests. His motivation has not waned as a result.

“It’s all about sharing memories. Perry stated, “I’m just happy that he loves it just as much as I do.”
“It motivates you when you’re doing all those offseason exercises, and things like that. It keeps you motivated.
“It helps you remain hungry.”
That hunger has allowed Perry to continue his career through several competitors. Even though he has continued to provide edge and playoff experience as well as net-front pressure, he has accepted smaller roles.
The Kings are currently gambling on Perry bringing the same components to Laviolette’s locker room during a different significant Western Conference drive.
The message he delivers to his detractors is concise. Perry isn’t returning for ceremony, nostalgia, or a a comfy last lap.
He desires another Stanley Cup and Griffin at his side during the most important events. Every workout is now preparation for another run in order to achieve that personal objective.
Perry understands that outsiders will continue to question how much he has left. He’s also aware that the sole response that counts will occur after puck drop.
