Edmonton Oilers Ready to Host Big Fan Autograph Event at West Edmonton Mall
The Edmonton Oilers are preparing for an exciting event for fans later this month, as the team is heading back to West Edmonton Mall for a much-awaited autograph signing.
During this special day, fans will have the chance to meet the whole Oilers team in different parts of the mall. They can get autographs on their favorite items or the official team cards.
“We’re excited to team up with West Edmonton Mall again to create an amazing experience for our fans,” said Stew MacDonald, who is the president and chief revenue officer of OEG Sports & Entertainment. “Our players really love meeting the devoted fans who support them year after year. ”
A big draw of the event will be the presence of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. The first 300 fans who line up to see each superstar will be guaranteed to get an autograph. At McDavid’s spot, fans will get a special Upper Deck card to have signed — personal items cannot be signed.
To make sure everyone has a chance, fans will only be allowed one autograph per player because of the huge interest.
Danielle Woo, the general manager and executive VP of tourism at WEM, mentioned that this event is likely to be one of the mall’s most thrilling occasions of the year. “The excitement across Oil Country is incredible, and this event will offer a fun and unforgettable day for all Oilers fans,” she stated.
The free autograph event will happen on Wednesday, November 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A full map showing where players will be will be released 24 hours before the event.
Fans are urged to come early — this Oilers meet-and-greet is expected to attract large crowds from all over the city.
