Bruno Fernandes has backed Nathan Bishop after the goalkeeper signed a new contract with Sunderland
Sunderland announced the acquisition of Nathan Bishop, a 23-year-old midfielder, last night.
Bishop has left Manchester United for an unknown sum. He has agreed to a three-year contract with the club.
“Everyone at United would like to wish a hugely popular member of the squad the best of luck at his new club,” said United’s farewell statement.

Nathan Bishop’s Manchester United teammates have been quick to wish him success in his future career.
“To everyone @manchesterunited players, staff, and fans thank you for your support and greatness over the years!” he wrote in a farewell statement on Instagram. It has been a delight!”
United players came out to wish him well, including club captain Bruno Fernandes, who tweeted, ‘You deserve the best mate’.
