Teden Mengi has signed a permanent contract with Luton Town for an unknown amount.

The Manchester-born center-back and Manchester United academy graduate is likely to join newly promoted Luton Town for an undisclosed fee in the coming days.

The teenager has had loan spells at Derby County and Birmingham City. However, he has yet to gain Premier League experience with the senior Red Devils squad.

Despite playing against LASK in the 2020 Europa League, he has yet to make his senior Premier League debut. The move to Luton would be advantageous for him because it would provide him the opportunity to play in the Premier League.

Mengi’s Loan Club Results

Mengi concluded his first loan spell away from Manchester at Derby County in the later part of the 2021 season, when he made nine appearances under Wayne Rooney’s coaching.
