final stage – Last deal 80% Done: Fabrizio issues “important” transfer update on 4th signing

This summer has already seen a lot of change in Manchester United’s midfield. They still have a long way to go in the transfer market, but Fabrizio Romano dealt a blow to club supporters when talking to GIVEMESPORT regarding Sofyan Amrabat.

Can Amrabat make a domestic move instead?

Manchester United started the new campaign with a victory at home over a struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers team. Raphael Varane’s magnificent header was the game’s lone goal, and attention is now turning to a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

The top brass at United, though, are also thinking about transfers. Since January, the Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has been linked to moves to Liverpool, Barcelona, and Old Trafford.

He is well known for his club antics, but what really made him famous were his performances on the biggest stage of them all. At the World Cup in Qatar, Amrabat was a revelation for Morocco, and as a result, he is in great demand.

The long-running speculations linking him to Manchester’s red side would have you believe that a deal is about to be finalized, but this is not the case.

Amrabat had previously drawn interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, including West Ham United, but he has greater goals now.

As the Serie A giants continue to snag homegrown talent from lower down the league’s pecking order, Juventus is one squad that could provide serious difficulties for Erik ten Hag. La Viola is holding firm, particularly against Juve, and Romano has made it clear where United really stands in this conflict.

What has changed in Romano’s search for Amrabat?

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer specialist, spoke to GIVEMESPORT about Erik ten Hag’s situation and Manchester United’s interest in Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

“Manchester United still has Amrabat as a top target.” It’s important to stress that they never made a formal offer.

At the end of June and the beginning of July, as well as in more recent weeks, they had productive contacts with the player’s camp.

But they’ve never submitted an official bid, so we’ll have to wait and watch when Manchester United decides to speak directly with Fiorentina.

What else is happening at Manchester United?

Supporters were discussing about Varane’s aforementioned winning goal against Gary O’Neil’s Wolves for a multitude of reasons after it was scored. One of these was the appearance of a Manchester United-affiliated international teammate in the Instagram post of the goal scorer’s joyous moment.

Benjamin Pavard, who has his sights set on the Theatre of Dreams, might be pushing Bayern Munich to let him leave for England.

After Dane Rasmus Hojlund arrived from Atlanta, Ten Hag might try to add another key player to the attacking third. The player in question is Joao Felix, a former Chelsea loanee who is rumored to be on the verge of leaving Atletico Madrid because of his tense relationship with manager Diego Simeone.

As September 1st approaches, attention should be paid to these two moves.
