Former Man United fan’s favourite ‘is being lined up to make his long-awaited return

"Agreement"; Manchester United begins talks with a £50 million defender

David de Gea, a free agent, is reportedly being courted by a LaLiga team, who is planning a move for him.

Since being released by Manchester United at the end of June due to an inability to come to an agreement on new terms, De Gea has been without a team.

De Gea has been linked with major moves to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich since leaving United, where he spent 12 years of his career.

All of those transactions fell through, and De Gea is reportedly now being given another opportunity to go back to Spain and play for the national team.

According to Fichajes, Real Betis are planning a move to sign the 32-year-old.

Multiple LaLiga club are reportedly lining up a move for ex-Man United keeper David de Gea

De Gea has been practising alone in recent weeks as he looks for a new club.

According to Spanish media, Real Betis is mulling a bid for the free agent Spaniard.

Valencia are also reportedly exploring an approach for the former Manchester United star, who has been training on his own since leaving the club.

Fichajes also claims that De Gea is considering returning to his home country to play in Spain’s top flight.

After a fantastic season in goal for the Red Devils, the Spanish stopper won the Premier League’s Golden Glove award in 2022-23.

De Gea kept an impressive 17 clean sheets in the English Premier League, but it wasn’t enough to earn him a contract extension, with the club declining to prolong his stay by an optional 12 months.

De Gea’s departure made way for the signing of Andre Onana from Inter Milan, who has since taken over as United’s No. 1 custodian.
