Man United reached £20 million full agreement with Crystal Palace for 26-year-old star with zero appearances under ETH after Forest game

Dean Henderson, Manchester United’s custodian, is poised to join Crystal Palace on a permanent basis this summer

According to The Athletic, the 26-year-old will join the London club for around £15 million plus £5 million in add-ons.

For some weeks, Henderson has been linked with a move away from Manchester United.

The 26-year-old needs consistent playing time at this stage of his career, which he is unlikely to get at Manchester United.

He was on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, and he previously impressed during a temporary spell at Sheffield United. There is little doubt that the 26-year-old is capable of starting in the Premier League on a consistent basis, and a move to Crystal Palace might provide him with those possibilities he requires.

Henderson will strive to establish himself as a key player for Crystal Palace and force his way into the England group in the coming months

Manchester United signed Andre Onana earlier this summer, and they are apparently close to signing Fenerbahce midfielder Altay Bayindir as well. Henderson would have been the club’s third-choice keeper, thus his departure makes sense.

Manchester United will be permitted to sign their own players as a result of the rumoured £20 million transaction. The Red Devils could benefit from a solid central defender as well as some midfield depth.
