Man United stars take sides in Jadon Sancho argue as Erik ten Hag refuses to back down

Erik ten Hag has barred Jadon Sancho from using any first-team facilities at Manchester United’s training complex until the winger issues an apology.

Manchester United teammates have asked Jadon Sancho to apologise and resolve his rivalry with manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho’s Manchester United teammates have appealed with him to swallow his pride and apologise to Ten Hag, including England trio Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, and Luke Shaw. They have intervened and told Sancho that there would only be one winner in his ongoing struggle with Ten Hag, advising the £73million star to back down so he can resume playing.

Since accusing Ten Hag of lying over his exclusion from the team to face Arsenal earlier this month, Sancho has been working alone with United fitness staff. After Ten Hag stated that Sancho was left out owing to poor training performances, the 23-year-old resorted to social media to challenge his manager’s authority.

Sancho’s United teammates have now weighed in, according to a source close to the players: “Jadon’s team-mates have been telling him to back down and apologise to the boss.” They expect him to apologise. They empathise with him and his feelings, but they know that what he posted crossed a line.”

Ten Hag replied to the social media post by exiling Sancho from training, and it is now known that he has been excluded from all first-team facilities, including the team dining area. In addition to practising with United’s youth players, Sancho has been barred from utilising any of the club’s first-team facilities at Carrington.

This includes the first-team’s state-of-the-art dining facilities, with Sancho forced to eat alongside academy players following his stunning fall-out with Ten Hag. Despite deleting the viral social media post, Sancho is claimed to be unhappy with his situation and has failed to apologise to Ten Hag.

According to United insiders, the relationship between Sancho and Ten Hag has reached a “impasse,” with no way back for the former until he decides to apologise to his boss. Sancho is also claimed to have been late for training on multiple occasions, with the player’s incendiary social media post being the final straw for Ten Hag.

Despite the fact that the right-wing position at United is up for grabs, Sancho is now on leave as he confronts claims of physical abuse. Ten Hag has barred Sancho from all first-team facilities because he does not want a disgruntled player spreading negativity and sowing discord within his squad.
