Jadon Sancho has retaliated against Erik ten Hag for saying that his lack of selection for the Arsenal game was due to his subpar workout efforts.
The manager’s remarks were followed quickly by a social media statement from Sancho.

“I have behaved myself admirably this week during training. I’ve been made the scapegoat for a very long time, which is unfair, so I don’t think there are any other explanations for this issue.
“All I want to do is cheer when I play football and help my team out. I respect each and every choice the coaching staff makes.
“I am thankful to be able to play with such great players, since I am aware that every week is a challenge. No matter what, I will keep fighting for this badge.
