A senior Man Utd player Klopp described as “really good” may now leave the club in the near future

(Video) Watch: Shocking Footage of exchange between Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag emerges after the Carabao Cup final

A new report claims that another player may leave Manchester United this summer, even though Jadon Sancho has been linked to leaving the club.

Can athletes depart following the transfer window?

The team is undoubtedly suffering as a result of problems on and off the pitch at Old Trafford right now, so it’s safe to infer that things there aren’t going too well.

United’s first four Premier League games in 2023–24 only produced six points thanks to too many performances that lacked guts and skill. One of their two victories over Wolves was a stroke of luck for them.

Outside of the pitch, Sancho’s future continues to be a heated topic of conversation, while Mason Greenwood and Antony have been in the press for all the wrong reasons. It’s unlikely that a relocation to Saudi Arabia will take place soon.

Players are still able to leave even after the British transfer window closes, despite the fact that Erik ten Hag has reinforced his club this summer with a few high-profile arrivals. The window for Turkey is open through Friday, whereas it is much longer in many other countries.

Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek thanks the crowd after the game.

Donny van de Beek: Will Manchester United lose him?

According to a recent post from Football Insider, Donny van de Beek “could quit” United over the next days and complete a move to Turkey before their transfer window closes:

Football Insider was informed by sources that Man United would try to offload midfielder Donny van de Beek as international transfer windows come to a close. The 26-year-old is rumoured to have options in Turkey.

Van van Beek attracted interest from other clubs before the English transfer window shut, but a deal to leave Old Trafford could not be reached until September 1. He had choices in Europe when a potential deal to Ligue 1 outfit Lorient fell through and interest from La Liga team Real Sociedad did not materialise.

Van van Beek has been one of the more underwhelming acquisitions of the Ten Hag era thus far—and probably of the previous ten or so years at United—despite coming from Ajax with a solid reputation.

In all honesty, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp did refer to him as “really good” at one time, but considering that he only managed two goals and two assists in 60 appearances for the Red Devils, it is tough to remember any particularly standout efforts on his part.

For whatever reason, Van van Beek hasn’t gelled at United, therefore it would be ideal if the team could let him go before the Turkish transfer window closes.

Even if the current deal with the Dutchman doesn’t end until the summer of 2025, its value will gradually diminish as the time draws closer. The best price for him should still be obtained by United if he is sold in the near future.

Given that Van de Beek’s agony at Old Trafford must come to an end and since Ten Hag frequently played and managed the player at Ajax, it is surprising that he seems to have given up on the player.
