Harrison was hired in February of this year, while Murtough was appointed director of football in March 2021 after five years as head of development. Before Arnold took charge, Ed Woodward served as Man United’s CEO from 2012 to 2022.

They might all be held responsible for the recent poor seasons the Red Devils have endured, though, now that Ratcliffe has joined the team.

At Manchester United, INEOS Director of Sports and his right-hand man Sir Dave Brailsford are expected to be by his side when it comes to making critical decisions regarding key judgements.

All three players—Paul Pogba (£89 million), Romelu Lukaku (£75 million), and Angel Di Maria (£59.7 million)—were ultimately unsuccessful.

There are still unpaid balances of £85.5 million for Antony, £73 million for Jadon Sancho, £44.5 million for Anthony Martial, and £40 million for Donny van de Beek.

Additionally, Mason Mount, Rasmus Hojlund, Sofyan Amrabat, and Andre Onana were added by manager Erik ten Hag during the most recent summer transfer window.

While he is yet to score in the Premier League, only the Danish international has left an impression.
