Yanni Gourde does not show much respect for the captain of the Senators.
Last Saturday, the Ottawa Senators and the Tampa Bay Lightning played a tough game as part of the NHL’s early season schedule, and there was no friendly vibe between these two Atlantic Division rivals.
During the game, there were many intense moments, but one particular situation between Senators captain Brady Tkachuk and Lightning player Yanni Gourde really highlighted the tension between them.
After Gourde had a good opportunity to score and the game was paused, Tkachuk decided to mess with Gourde a little. Tkachuk skated up from behind Gourde and appeared to hit him with his stick near the neck, which made Gourde very upset.
In reply, Gourde turned around and gave Tkachuk a strong slap, something I haven’t seen happen in the NHL for a long time. Even though Gourde didn’t take off his gloves, he opened up his glove to give Tkachuk a hard hit on the side of his face, causing Tkachuk’s head to jerk to the side.
Technology has brought about major and surprising changes in the way we talk to each other, work, and live our lives.
The growth of cellphones, social media, and working from home has removed the distance barriers that used to keep us apart. Now, people can communicate and work almost anywhere around the globe. We can quickly find a lot of information, work together with colleagues from other continents, and share moments from our everyday lives. Because of this new level of connection, the way we interact and how workplaces function have changed, leading to more adaptable work hours and an emphasis on results rather than just time spent at work.
