Arsenal is now seriously considering making a swap deal to sign a 'remarkable' player.

Arsenal are said to be investigating a swap deal to capture Brentford striker Ivan Toney in January.

This is according to 90 Minute, who believes that both Arsenal and Chelsea are considering a deal for Toney.

Arsenal have had a bright start to the new season and have yet to lose in the Premier League.

However, there have been some concerns about a lack of potency up front, with Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus struggling to hit the scoreboard on a consistent basis thus far.

Indeed, the two strikers have combined for just three Premier League goals this season.

It has led to speculation that Arsenal would launch a January move for Ivan Toney, with The Mirror reporting that they have increased their interest.

Arteta’s guys appear to be pondering making offers in order to land Toney.

Arsenal considering swap deal for Toney According to 90 Minutes, both Chelsea and Arsenal are willing to trade players to Brentford in exchange for Toney.

It’s worth noting that insiders close to the Bees have dismissed rumours that they could sell the striker for £60 million, claiming that they will likely seek more than £75 million.

According to the report, Arsenal may decide to meet those expectations, but they are also willing to provide players as part of a deal.

Toney has been described as a’remarkable’ striker, having scored 20 goals for Thomas Frank’s team last season.

He is without a doubt one of the top attackers in the Premier League, and signing him would be a tremendous coup for the Gunners.

He is, of course, now serving an eight-month suspension for violating gambling rules. England’s striker is expected to return to play in January, but he has just recently returned to training at Brentford.

Nonetheless, if Toney can regain even a fraction of his former form, he would be an excellent addition to Arsenal’s squad.
