Breaking News: Manchester United agree loan deal with French outfit for the departure of £36 million playmaker

Manchester United have reportedly agreed on a loan offer from Ligue 1 side Lorient for Donny van de Beek, but the player remains undecided

According to GFFN, Lorient have reportedly seen an offer to take Donny van de Beek, but the move has its complexities. Manchester United are open to letting the £36 million playmaker leave the club to find opportunities elsewhere, but he may not choose to join the French outfit.

Donny van de Beek has taken a massive nosedive since joining Manchester United. In the two years since the £36 million playmaker joined from Ajax, either a loss of form or injury troubles have kept him out of the teamsheet.

He also endured a terrible loan spell during his time at Manchester United, but nothing seemed to have helped him improve his form. The Red Devils no longer consider Van de Beek to have a future at the club and are happy to get rid of him, as his options also include former side Ajax.

They are even open to a loan deal and were talking to Real Sociedad about a possible deal for the Dutchman. There were also reports linking him to Genoa, but now GFFN suggests Manchester United have accepted a loan offer from Ligue 1 side Lorient.
