David Beckham “offered a role at Man United” as the Qatari takeover is completed

David Beckham "will be offered a role at Man United" as the Qatari takeover is completed

According to reports, David Beckham will be given a position at Manchester United if Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is successful in his bid

The Glazer family, United’s current owners, have been trying to sell the team since November 2022.

The likelihood of Sheikh Jassim and INEOS CEO Sir Jim Ratcliffe taking over as the club’s new owners at Old Trafford has been widely reported.

The Glazers may now take the club off the market and sell it again in 2025, according to rumors, but a deal has not yet been finalized.

Beckham has been in touch with the Qataris to increase his public support for their bid for United, according to talkSPORT host Anil Kandola.

He wrote: “Was told last night that David Beckham has been in direct communication with the Qataris & has been requested to become more outspoken in his support of the bid for #MUFC.

If Qatar is successful in acquiring United, he will be given the position of “International Ambassador.”

During the weekend’s Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix, Beckham was questioned about the situation with United.

He claimed, “We are one of the biggest clubs in the world.” The stability we want. That, in my opinion, is the most important aspect.

Each of us has a preferred candidate for overseeing the club’s operations and restoring it to its proper status.

Beckham stated, “We are the best, according to us and the fans.” We want to reclaim our previous place at the top, and I believe I know who can help us do it.
