Gabriel Jesus claims fans would not know how impressive the Man Utd star was against Arsenal

Gabriel Jesus rejects protests over Alejandro Garnacho’s late goal being disallowed and asserts that referee Anthony Taylor made several “poor choices” in Arsenal’s victory over Manchester United

With a 3-1 victory at the Emirates on Sunday, the Gunners maintained their perfect start to the current Premier League campaign. However, the result was anything but straightforward.

Despite playing with little purpose for the majority of the game, Marcus Rashford was set free by a swift counterattack in the 27th minute, and he blasted a shot into the far corner.

After the intermission, Martin Odegaard equalised, and the match quickly turned tense until Alejandro Garnacho, a replacement, burst through on goal and tapped the ball past Aaron Ramsdale in the 89th minute.

After a thorough VAR review, the goal that appeared to have given the Red Devils all three points was disallowed due to a very slight offside judgement.

Declan Rice’s deflected shot in the 96th minute gave Arsenal the advantage at the end of the game, and Jesus added some gloss to the score in the 101st.

Ten Hag was upset with the referees after the game, saying the VAR had drawn the lines for Garnacho’s offside goal from the ‘wrong angle’. When Rice scored, Ten Hag thought his team should have been given a penalty and a free kick on Jonny Evans.

Despite Ten Hag’s objections, Jesus is of the opinion that Arsenal was at fault for the surprisingly overturned penalty and thinks Garnacho’s effort should not have stood despite offside.

After the game, the Brazilian informed reporters that “the referee made some bad decisions.” Even with their [disallowed] goal, he claims, “I could have been fouled, but fortunately it was offside.”

Jesus, who had surgery in the offseason, said he was glad to be back playing and scoring, adding, “I’m feeling fine.” After a holiday, it’s difficult to return to an injury. I regretfully started to feel my knee once more.

After preseason, you return, but you’re in pain. I made the choice to get surgery as soon as I could in order to recuperate more quickly. Even though it was challenging, I’m now back. It’s crucial to get the rhythm back. I’m back, and I’m happy and terrific.

I was completely fine at the end of last season, she claims. After that, I went on vacation and felt nothing. When I came back the first week, nothing had changed. I then started to feel it after that.

“And I had to ask myself, ‘If I’m not 100%, I won’t be myself.'” I persisted in trying while playing and practising. I could feel it a little, but it didn’t bother me. However, I was unable to sprint or move, so I chose to have surgery — and that was the end of it.

The day after learning the news is terrible, but the next day you realise you must continue struggling and smiling. I should be thankful since God gave me a life and made it possible for me to wake up every morning. I’m in luck. I’m free to stroll, sit here, and smile. Therefore, there is no need for concern. Just keep fighting and have faith in God.
