Fred is reportedly getting close to moving to Galatasaray, according to Turkish organization Fotomac. The Brazilian midfielder needs to leave Manchester United in quest of consistent playing time because he has struggled to get into regular games at Old Trafford.
At this point in his career, a departure from Old Trafford would be great for him. The 30-year-old, who cost £47 million to acquire, hasn’t always performed well for Manchester United. At this point in his career, moving to Turkey would be excellent for him.
It is still unclear whether the two teams would be able to reach a swift deal given that the Turkish league’s lower caliber could lengthen his time playing at the highest level. Galatasaray needs to add to its midfield, and for the right price, the Manchester United midfielder may be a good addition.
