Jim Nill recently made it evident that Glen Gulutzan and Jason Robertson are still working together in Dallas.
The trade rumor itself was not the biggest update. Robertson finally rejected the deal that Nill stated was on the table with Seattle.
That’s important because it informs you. The stars were doing more than simply listening. A legitimate path materialized when they had traveled sufficiently along the route, but it continued to remain on the same side of the line.

That figure quickly alters the discussion. Dallas may adore the player and wish to retain him, but they must carefully consider how the next agreement affects the remainder of the team.
Additionally, the Seattle angle speaks volumes. The market is no longer fantasy material because a Western team was near enough to be in actual trade form. Even if Dallas still desires the extension route first, it is alive.
Gulutzan finds the hockey side to be uncomplicated. You don’t want to give a new coach a team without one of its finest finishers, especially since the winger is just 26 years old.
It now appears that this is a straightforward decision about value and fit for Nill. He can still retain Jason Robertson in Dallas, but only if the Stars can identify a figure that works for both parties.
