Manchester United fans got some good news today, according to the Glazer family

Manchester United has disclosed that their revenue for the current campaign will set a new high.

The 2022–2023 financial report for Manchester United shows record revenue of £648 million.

There is also a small operational deficit, according to the statistics.

It is anticipated that profits for the fiscal year 2023–2024 could reach £680 million.

Despite participating in the Europa League for the 2022–2023 season, Manchester United achieved record annual revenue, according to recently released financial performance numbers.

Because the Europa League is UEFA’s secondary club competition, its prize fund is significantly smaller than that of the Champions League. On the other hand, United’s matchday and commercial revenue streams increased significantly, more than offsetting the direct negative impact on broadcast revenue.

By the end of June 30, 2023, the club had earned £648.4 million in revenue for the year.
The wage cost was reduced by £52.8 million in the 2022–2023 season as a result of automatic provisions in player contracts that would take effect if the team did not qualify for the Champions League.

Nevertheless, despite record revenues and salary reductions, the accounting balance showed a little operational deficit of £11.2 million.

It is believed that the Glazer family did not get any dividends, even though £33.6 million was distributed the previous year.

Manchester United, who have once again earned a spot in the Champions League, is hoping to break their previous revenue record in 2023–24 by earning as much as £680 million. A new shirt sponsorship deal worth a lot of money has been arranged with the Qualcomm brand, and it will begin in the summer of 2019. Furthermore, beginning in 2025, the kit arrangement with adidas will be renewed.

Nearly a year after the Glazer family announced their intention to investigate “strategic alternatives,” Sir Jim Ratcliffe is currently in the process of becoming a minority owner of the club, obtaining a 25% share and taking an active role in the business’s activities. After defeating opponent Sheikh Jassim of Qatar, the wealthy owner of INEOS has stated that growing and improving.
