Sabres Fans Just Did What Governments Can’t?! 😳 The ‘O Canada’ Moment Sparking Heated Debate Across Borders

UPDATE: After her moment that went viral tonight, anthem singer Cami Clune has gone on social media to express her gratitude to Sabres fans for covering for her this evening.

Once again, it was a wonderful moment. Check below for the whole story.

A lovely moment that shows the bond between the two biggest hockey nations just happened in Buffalo tonight.

As the Buffalo Sabres were about to play against the Boston Bruins in Game 5 of their first playoff round, the only thing left to do was sing the National Anthems before the game started. For those who don’t know, the Sabres always sing both ‘O Canada’ and the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ no matter who is playing, and tonight was no different.

But there was a hiccup.

Cami Clune’s microphone stopped working while she was singing ‘O Canada’.

However, the loyal Sabres fans quickly jumped in and sang their neighbor’s National Anthem loudly and confidently for everyone to hear.

Isn’t that awesome?

With all the political nonsense happening between our two countries, this moment really shows that hockey has the power to unite us.

Good job, Sabre fans. You’re awesome people.
