John Carlson is now the Hurricanes’ newest offseason acquisition, with Rod Brind’Amour still in charge of Carolina’s bench.
According to Sportsnet, Carolina is obtaining Carlson’s rights from Anaheim, indicating that the Hurricanes are acting quickly to steer the conversation before free agency starts.
