Only Rodrygo Goes, Joselu Mato, and Brahim Diaz are available to play ahead of their midfield diamond with Vinicius Junior out. It would be a loan with a buyout option at the end of the season.
Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, declared the transfer market closed on Thursday, although that was before the loss of Vinicius.
They are unlikely to sign Martial, who has a track record of failure in La Liga and may have doubts about his ability to perform at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, Martial’s style matches Vinicius’s role as a direct and pacy threat who can run at defenders and in behind.
