“Too bad” Bruno Fernandes blames three Man United Stars after Galatasaray letdown

Bruno Fernandes admitted Manchester United have been ‘too bad’ in the Champions League this season after Wednesday’s draw against Galatasaray.

United were aware of the importance of leaving Instanbul with a victory to give themself hope of reaching the knockout rounds of the Champions League and they made the dream start by taking a two-goal lead.

Brilliant goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes meant United were comfortably ahead within 20 minutes, but a mistake from Andre Onana gave Galatasaray a goal shortly before the half-hour mark

Fernandes spoke to TNT Sports after the game and he cut a frustrated figure as he spoke to the rights holder.

“I couldn’t go to the dressing room because of doping control, so I don’t know [mood among the squad],” he said.

“But obviously, we conceded really bad goals and we have to take control of the situations for all of them.

We were on top of the result twice and had too many chances, far too many to score another goal and have the game closed, but we’re not clinical enough
