The Pittsburgh Penguins lost their third straight game in the first round of the playoffs against the Philadelphia Flyers, and now they’re in a tough spot.
When things get rough, people often try anything they can, and Penguins captain Sidney Crosby really seemed to do that last night. In what looked like a sad effort to help his team get a powerplay, Crosby was penalized for flopping after he got lightly hit by Flyers player Garnet Hathaway.
Seriously, Sid. . . you can do better than this.
After the game, Crosby didn’t admit to his wrongdoing and even criticized the referees for calling the foul on him.
“I don’t get how I got called for flopping. . . it’s confusing, but you just have to keep playing. ”
Really, Sid?
Come on, man.
