Honestly. . . he’s still not far enough away haha.
For the second time in two years, musician Kyle Ivan from Ottawa has become popular on social media, but not for good reasons.
Last year, he went viral for a really awkward version of Blur’s 1997 song ‘Song 2’ that had boring and overused lyrics about the Ottawa Senators.
The negative reactions to that video were huge, but it seems Ivan didn’t take the hint.
Last week, he put out a rap song inspired by Eminem that fans also didn’t like at all.
Can someone actually have a stroke from feeling secondhand embarrassment? If that’s true, please get a doctor for me. . .
As I mentioned, hockey fans from all over laughed at Ivan last week. Even the Senators fans have tried to separate themselves from him, and today the Senators announced they’ve basically sent Ivan to Taiwan for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Honestly, good for him and the Sens for making a joke out of it. You gave it a shot. . . twice. . . and it didn’t work. Accept it and make a joke about it. I can appreciate that.
