Fresh bid made: Man united complete the signing of £40m striker who has 10 league goals this season – Erik Ten Hag wants another striker to replace Hujlund

Manchester United are looking to reinforce their strike force and the name of Serhou Guirassy has been in the focus for some time.

Last month, reports indicated that the Red Devils are pushing a lot to lure the Guinean international in the January transfer window.

As per The Athletic, the Old Trafford club may decide to invest in securing the African striker this month.

According to an exclusive story covered by Spanish source, Todo Fichajes, Man Utd are now ready to agree a fee worth £15.1m (17.5 million euros) to sign Guirassy from Stuttgart in the winter window.

The forward’s contract has a £15.1 million release clause, and the media outlet reported that United is committed to paying the sum.

One of the top goal scorers in the current campaign is Guirassy. In just 12 Bundesliga starts, he has already netted 17 goals for the German team.

In addition, the 27-year-old has directly contributed to three goals in his two DFB-Pokal games this season.

Since Rasmus Hojlund, a summer acquisition, has struggled in the Premier League thus far, Man Utd needs to take advantage of this enormous market opportunity, which is worth £15.1 million.

Even if Ten Hag signs the international player from Guinea, he won’t be available this month because he was included in the squad for the forthcoming African Cup of Nations.

Do you think Man Utd should accept a £15.1 million fee to sign Serhou Guirassy?
