HEAVEN SEALED: Supporters lash out at Man United goalie Andre Onana for making THREE inexcusable errors in a “shameful” showing against Galatasaray

Man Utd supporters are furious with Galatasaray’s failure, as Andre Onana said he “let his team down”

Andre Onana’s terrible performance in Wednesday night’s Champions League 3-3 draw against Galatasaray has angered Manchester United supporters on social media.

Stephen Warnock and Manchester United supporters criticised Andre Onana after the player’s most recent error put the team in danger of losing the Champions League.

The dramatic 3-3 draw at Galatasaray on Wednesday night saw the 27-year-old Cameroon international caught twice. As a result, United needs to win snookers to advance to the tournament’s knockout round. Hakim Ziyech’s free kick first caught him off guard, and then he inexplicably mishandled the former Chelsea forward’s second attempt to make it 3-2.

In order to even things up and put United’s European campaign in jeopardy, Kerem Akturkoglu scored. Additionally, Warnock, who was reporting the game on BBC 5 Live, viciously singled out Onana.

Warnock spoke following Akturkoglu’s goal, saying, “I don’t think Onana should be beaten at the near post.” You need to be in a better position. I hate to say it, but he let his team down tonight. In a game this big, you have to do better.”

Following the game, Onana also took the brunt of the anger from supporters on social media, with the majority of them holding him responsible for United’s collapse. “The most chaotic custodian on the planet,” according to one user, while a United supporter joked, “Andre Onana, he doesn’t want us in the UCL.”
