Man United agree to terminate contract of summer signing as early as January

According to Erik ten Hag, Sergio Reguilon’s contract has a clause that allows him to leave Man United in January.

The Spaniard came from Tottenham on a season-long loan, but it’s possible that he made very little of an impact on United in the second half.

Erik ten Hag has now disclosed that he may be able to leave the team as early as January due to a break option in his contract.

Ten Hag stated following the startling 3-0 loss to Bournemouth that they must decide on the player’s future in consultation with Spurs.

“We need to decide on Reguilon in the end. Nevertheless, Spurs are also having that talk,” he added.

Reguilon was originally brought in to cover for injuries, therefore his time at United has been somewhat hit or miss due to those issues.
