“Player is already in Manchester” – Fabrizio Romano now drops exciting Man Utd transfer update

The signing of Fenerbahce and Turkey custodian Altay Bayindir by Manchester United is now a’matter of time’. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who explains the delay in an exclusive conversation with GIVEMESPORT

According to Transfermarkt, Erik ten Hag has already spent about £165 million on three incomings this summer, but he is anxious to recruit more new faces before Friday’s 11 p.m. deadline.

Manchester United transfer news: Altay Bayindir

According to The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell, Bayindir is set to become the club’s fourth significant addition, with a deal for the 25-year-old shot-stopper expected to be finalised soon, while Dean Henderson is on his way to Crystal Palace. The custodian from Whitehaven has battled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Old Trafford, notably under Ten Hag’s guidance, and will now join the Eagles for a fee of £20 million.

Andre Onana will probably be Ten Hag’s first choice in goal, but Bayindir will be the Cameroon international’s backup if he is unavailable for any reason. And, while that role has grown somewhat obsolete in recent years, Bayindir may get his time to shine sooner than expected.

Onana, who joined Ajax earlier this season for £47.2 million, has been called up to the Cameroon national team camp ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Burundi next month. According to the Manchester Evening News, if his country wins the tournament, he might miss up to four Premier League matches. While Bayindir is unlikely to appear in the early stages of cup tournaments or any Champions League dead rubber matches, he will give his all when called upon. Romano has now provided an update to GIVEMESPORT on Bayindir’s transfer to Manchester United.

What did Fabrizio Romano say about Manchester United and Altay Bayindir?

Romano told GIVEMESPORT in an exclusive interview that a deal for Bayindir is now more feasible after the 25-year-old passed his physical despite concerns about his back injury.

He is already in Manchester, according to the Italian transfer expert, and signing on the dotted line is now just a “matter of time.”

“There’s also the Altay Bayindir situation, which is a matter of time,” he added. Manchester United needed to make sure the player’s physical condition was in fine working order because he had some back problems in recent months.

What is the next stage for Manchester United?

Mason Mount’s injury has heightened the club’s urgency to find a new midfielder before the transfer deadline on Friday. As a result, Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge recently told GIVEMESPORT that Ten Hag could make a last-ditch attempt to replace the Englishman, identifying Sofyan Amrabat and Ryan Gravenberch as two names on his shopping list.

Manchester United and Liverpool will compete for Gravenberch’s abilities, and both clubs have been given a boost as MailOnline reports the 21-year-old hopes to join one of his Premier League suitors before the deadline on Friday. If the Red Devils’ arch-rivals win the race for Bayern Munich’s star, Fiorentina’s Amrabat is known to be anxious to play at Old Trafford and is ‘waiting to fly’ to Manchester once a fee has been agreed upon between the two parties. According to David Ornstein, the club is aggressively working on a move for the Morocco international before the transfer market closes on Friday, however it is understood to be a loan deal.
