Within hours of Ten Hag’s claim, Sancho took to social media to deny his boss’s statements, prompting his manager to banish the 23-year-old pending an apology.

I believe there are further causes for this situation that I will not discuss; I have been a scapegoat for a long time, which is not fair!

According to Mirror Sport, Sancho’s Manchester United teammates, including Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, and Luke Shaw, have all asked him to make up with Ten Hag. However, with Sancho obviously unwilling to bend and swallow his pride, senior United figures are reportedly planning his exit in the forthcoming January transfer window.
United paid Borussia Dortmund £73 million in 2021 for England sensation Sancho, but he has failed to justify that high sum, producing 12 goals in 82 appearances for the Red Devils.
Ten Hag gave Sancho almost three months off last season to deal with physical and mental concerns, but he had little influence on his comeback until this season’s spectacular fall-out.
