Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, experienced a heart arrest while practicing basketball

At the University of Southern California’s Galen Centre in Los Angeles on Monday, the 18-year-old collapsed on court and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The Lakers legend’s kid was admitted to intensive care, but his status is currently stable.

A family spokesperson told TMZ that Bronny James had a heart collapse the day before while rehearsing.

Bronny was treated by medical personnel, who then transported him to the hospital. He is presently stable and out of the intensive care unit.

“We request privacy and respect for the James family, and we will inform the media when there is more information,” the statement reads.

The representative went on to say that “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

Bronny was predicted by the USC Trojans to become an NBA superstar, and many believe he will follow in his father’s footsteps

LeBron, who has two children named Bronny and Bryce as well as a daughter named Zhuri, is recognized as one of basketball’s all-time greats and the NBA’s all-time leading scorer in points.

During his final year of high school, Bronny averaged 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, earning him a spot on the McDonald’s All-American team.
