Team USA has revealed their first list of players for the upcoming IIHF World Championships taking place in Switzerland.

If you’re looking for big names on that list, you might only see one: Matthew Tkachuk.
Actually, Tkachuk is the ONLY player from the team that won a gold medal at the Olympics who will head to Switzerland. This is surprising since big stars like Auston Matthews, Jack Hughes, Connor Hellebuyck, and Charlie McAvoy are all ready to play. Adding players like Kyle Connor, Dylan Larkin, JT Miller, Brock Nelson, Jake Oettinger, Jake Sanderson, Jeremy Swayman, Brady Tkachuk, Vincent Trocheck, and Zach Werenski, all of whom are also available, makes you feel let down by this team.
